Fundraising

Take part in CAAN’s fitness fundraiser!

The Cumbria Apprentice Ambassador Network (CAAN) is planning a fitness fundraising event to raise money for Westmorland and Furness Council and Cumberland Council's Chairman's charities, Springfield Domestic Abuse Support and Great North Air Ambulance Service.

There will be two teams (one for each council) which will compete against each other to collect points by exercising and tracking their tags through Street Tag, a free mobile app that encourages you to be physically active every day.

Points are gained by actively travelling to and from places, in addition to scanning virtual tags that have been scattered throughout your local area.

Both councils will go head-to-head for one month to see who can collect the most tags, with the competition starting on Wednesday 17 April 2024. Plus, all participants will be in with the chance of winning a prize! To make a donation to the Chairman's charity, please do so via the JustGiving page:

Thank you for your support!
